What we offer

At Metro Paws we treat every dog as an individual. Your dog is more to us than just a dog. Your dog is family. We base our pawlosophy around knowing each and every dog that attends our facilities. We get to know their individual personalities and create a very special bond. We use this knowledge of all of our dogs to place them in social groups with similar dogs so that they can socialise, play and make friends in a positive environment. This allows your dog to get the best experience from doggy daycare. Our pack leaders ensure that your dog is happy and healthy in our environment. We provide a daily schedule that involves socialising, fun, activities and nap time. This creates a well rounded Metro Citizen.

Safety and wellbeing

We are committed to ensuring a safe and happy environment

Metro Paws is a social environment for all dogs to enjoy, no matter what size, age or breed they are. To ensure the safety and well-being of all our pawmates, we do require that all dogs who attend meet the following criteria before they will be accepted at Metro Paws:

1
Be Vaccinated

All dogs must be vaccinated for DHPP (Canine Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Our friendly staff will need to check for proof of these vaccinations before your dog can attend our facilities.

2
Be Social

Metro Paws is a social daycare and boarding kennel for dogs who are highly socialised. All of our dogs go through assessments to ensure their suitability to attend our facilities. We can not accept dogs that show signs of aggression towards other dog or staff.

3
Be Desexed

We require all dogs to be desexed at a suitable age. However, attendance is dependent on your dog’s behaviour and the behaviour of our other pawmates towards your dog. We will discuss this openly with you if we have any concerns.

our commitment

Keeping everyone safe

We pride ourselves on providing a safe and healthy environment through our stringent day to day routines and procedures. However, sometimes the daycare or boarding environment can be a little too strenuous or not suitable for some dogs. Especially those with existing medical conditions or those with any limitations in mobility. This may mean our environment is not suitable to providing this safe and healthy experience for your pawmate that we are dedicated to.  We ask that you inform us of anything that may be of concern with your dog attending any of our facilities. We assess each dog on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you have any questions around how we can accommodate your dog.
