Metro Paws is a social environment for all dogs to enjoy, no matter what size, age or breed they are. To ensure the safety and well-being of all our pawmates, we do require that all dogs who attend meet the following criteria before they will be accepted at Metro Paws:
All dogs must be vaccinated for DHPP (Canine distemper, infectious Hepatitis, Parvovirus, parainfluenza), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Our friendly staff will need to check for proof of these vaccinations before your dog can attend our facilities.
Metro Paws is a social daycare and boarding kennel for dogs who are highly socialised. All of our dogs go through assessments to ensure their suitability to attend our facilities. We can not accept dogs that show signs of aggression towards other dog or staff.
We require all dogs to be desexed at a suitable age. However, attendance is dependent on your dog’s behaviour and the behaviour of our other pawmates towards your dog. We will discuss this openly with you if we have any concerns.
With individual apartments that hold three levels of climbing room, each cat condo is purposefully designed with your cat in mind. All cat rooms are air-conditioned to keep your feline family member warm in winter and cool in summer.
Family cat rooms are also available for those extended feline families. Limited spaces are available so be sure to book your family cat lounge before they get snapped up!
Our cattery is far away from our dog boarding rooms, so your cat will not be bothered with barking dogs and can sleep peacefully in style.
Comfortable luxurious bedding and blankets with a selection of baskets and stretchers
One on one cuddles, pats and tummy scratches and a delicious meal for every guest for breakfast and before bed. Puppies are fed more often as required
Top quality meals (raw feeding or providing own food for special diets is fine)
Park Like surroundings including Indoor and outdoor play areas for all weather play. Our generous large outdoor areas have Astro turf to keep all guests extra clean
Daily room cleaning ensuring your dog’s space is kept as clean as possible at all times
Full grooming services are available (must be booked in advance)
Climate control system to ensure an even temperature so dogs will be warm in winter and cool in summer
Ventilation system which regularly cycles the facilities air to reduce contaminates and airborne illnesses
Sprinkler system throughout facility
Our Pack Leaders are trained in positive reinforcement methods to reward your pet with treats (if allowed), love and/or affection to encourage appropriate and positive socialisation
